This Easter card will be for my niece.  The eggs and basket were cut from Cricut's Doodlecharms cartridge.  The paper for the large egg was from a DCWV Mi Casa paper pak and the ribbon is from Celebrate It!  I put some Spanish moss in the basket to look like Easter grass.  The bunny is a wooden Inkadoo stamp and I added some Liquid Applique to his tail and some of his fur.

This is the other sympathy card for my friend who's uncle died.  I used the Cuttlebug Shell Collage and Divine Swirls embossing folders then highlighted the embossed image by using a brayer and Archival Ink in Sepia.  I made the "with sympathy" sentiment on the computer and cut it out with a Spellbinders Shapeabilities Fancy Tags.  The ribbon is by American Crafts and the bottom paper is from a K&Company pad called Designer Paper.

I had to make two sympathy cards today for the same person.  My friend who gave me my Cricut for Christmas lost his uncle and his dog within a day of each other.  The dog's name was Beau and he was a Golden Retriever.  I used Spellbinders Nestabilities Big Scalloped Ovals LG to make his frame and the paper to stamp the puppy image on.  I pieced together letters from Inkadoo clear stamps. One was an alphabet set which only had capital letters so I pieced together letters from sayings from one of their other stamp sets.  The e & a were together so I embossed them after the B then added the u from another word.  I just stamped the letters I needed with the Versa Mark Pad.  The paws and the puppy are both wooden stamps by Inkadoo as well and the Furry Friend ribbon by Offray.  I printed the Good Dog! from the computer and cut it out in a bone shape and adhered it to one of Spellbinders Shapeabilities Fancy Tags.

This is my last post of the day; I ran out of adhesive so I'll take that opportunity to make some broccoli cheddar soup before dinner.  This card I'm sending to my grandmother in Florida.  The words on the bottom paper reminded me of France (although they could be German for all I know) and since my grandfather was a French teacher I thought it would be appropriate for her.  Both papers are from K&Company Designer Paper pad collection and the butterfly is their Grand Adhesions Dimensional Stickers by Serendipity.  What do you think of this color combo?
This card is for a family couple who are not religious so instead of sending them an Easter greeting I send them a spring one instead and they both like to garden.  The garden caddy and the potted flower are both from Jolee's boutique, the butterfly on the tulle is from K&Company's Clearly Yours stickers by Susan Winget and the flower branch and red butterfly are K&Company's Grand Adhesions by Brenda Walton.

This card will be for my husband's God daughter.  The Duck paper and the chick embellishment are both by Recollections.  The bowl and egg stickers are K&Company's Adhesive Chipboard and the pink background paper was punched with Martha Stewart's around the page border punch.

It's been a while since my last post; I started back on my Easter cards the other day but my mojo was off so I retired to the kitchen to make some potato soup instead.  This card will be for my sister; I tell you purple paper is hard to find.  This paper was from My Minds Eye Paris & Company collection which I embossed with Cuttlebug's Stylized Flowers folder as well as the Easter stamp.  The "fun" sticker is from K&Company's Grand Adhesions Dimensional Stickers by Susan Winget; I have a lot of stickers from her collections as you've seen from some of my posts.

Here's the Easter Basket!  Thanks to my friend Linda C from Turtle in the Sand who loaned me her DoodleCharms Cricut cartridge so I could cut out some baskets and eggs for my Easter cards.  The paper is again from DCWV's Garden Party MatStack, Inkadoo's rubber bunny stamp and the border on the right was done using an EK Success punch.  I used a Fiskar's Squares ebossing plate to add texture to the basket and highlighted it with gold ink.  I added Spanish moss from by backyard and a K&Co Clearly Yours flower sticker by Susan Winget.

I love the turquoise and brown color combination and was able to bring it together in this card not only with the paper from DCWV's Garden Party collection but also with the checked ribbon by Morex's Sweet Petite collection.  The bunny stamp is an Inkadoo rubber stamp and I embellished his tail by using a pom pom  making him a real Peter Cotton Tail!  The bottom and right border were enhanced using glitter paper and a Martha Stewart edge punch.

As promised here is my first Easter card.  This year's theme is eggs, bunnies and baskets (as opposed to last year which was vintage Easter images; I have a couple left over I'll post).  I embossed the 5x7 background card with Sizzix's Snow Cap embossing folder and highlighted the embossed image with green ink.  The paper on top of that is from DCWV's Mango Frost collection and the egg is K&Co's as is the butterfly sticker which is from their Grand.Adhesions Jubliee collection of butterflies.  The chick at the bottom of the egg is by Recollections.

Good morning everyone and Happy Superbowl Sunday!  I am a happy fan being from New York and therefore a New Englander as well.  Today my first post is a birthday card for my Godson who turned 3 yesterday.  I used the Alphabet cartridge that came with my Cricut Expression 2; the 2 larger fish represent his parents and the small fish with the party hat is Grant.  This is my first card using my new Cricut but I'll be posting some Easter cards I used it for as well. His Dad and my husband are the ones who surprised me with the Cricut for this past Christmas.
