This next series of cards uses Graphic 45's Domestic Goddess Farmer's Market Collection of paper.  The butterfly in the lower left is by K&Co. and the other I made using EK Success's Butterfly Layer Punch.  The small yellow butterfly below is bobbin ribbon by Wright's and I just cut out one butterfly to use.

I mentioned in my last post I couldn't believe I made all these cards from 2 pieces of paper - I meant the accents features on the cards.  Of course I used paper from my stock for the backgrounds.  The edge punch I used in "What Baby Reads" is a Martha Stewart around the page border punch and the peppermint brad is by Eyelet Outlet . The brads and the Graphic 45 paper I got from my favorite boutique papercrafting store, Scrapbooks by the Sea in Pawleys Island www.scrapbooksbythesea.com. The brad on the green flower below is by Recollections, the blue & green flower by Prisma and the ribbon by American Crafts.

Two more after these two.  The rose on the Frog card is by K&Co.  I can't believe I made all these cards from 2 sheets of paper!

The flower and bow I added to her hat is by Offray, the hearts were cut using Spellbinders Scalloped Hearts and the swirl is a Sizzix Decorative Swirl Sizzlit.  The clothespins you see on several cards I got in the baby favor section at AC Moore.

Okay, I know you'll agree with me that this next collection is SO FUN!!!  It is from Graphic 45's ABC Primer papers and I really enjoyed making these cards.    I simply added ribbon and embellishments.  The checked ribbon on the kitty card is by American Crafts and the pretty glittery ribbon on the Mother Goose card I found in the dollar bin at AC Moore.  For the corners I used Sizzix's Architectural Accents Sizzlits.

This sailing ship card would make a great Father's Day card.  I used the Cuttlebug's Shell Collage embossing folder below as a background on the card below.  The ribbon is by American Crafts; they have an excellent assortment of printed ribbons and are my favorite to use.

The adhesive cork paper I used on this sandpiper and seagull card is by Karen Foster Designs and the sand castle edge punch is by EK Success.  The baby turtle stamp above is by Great Impressions.
This next series of cards showcases the new collection of embellishments by Tim Coffee for K & Co.  I love seahorses and sealife so this collection is right up my alley.  I used the Swirl Cuttlebug embossing folder a lot since feel it represents the waves of the ocean which I used on both background papers. The light blue swirl paper on the seahorse card  is by K&Co. and the quote by Brigham Young says, "Nature is the glass reflecting God, as by the sea reflected is the sun, too glorious to be gazed on in his sphere.""

I'm posting these pictures to show my 3-year old God son in Charleston that I too, have to use a step stool.  This was an unfinished stool I painted white and accented in gold and simply used some rub-ons.  The initials I made using my Cricut.  I needed to read the digital display on my new printer which sits on top of a 4-drawer filing cabinet and still couldn't see even on tip-toes.

This birthday card is for my step-daughter's husband.  This is a theme I'll probably be using a lot of in the future as I have an opportunity to display my cards for sale in a friend's store that will be opening soon.  The seahorse and sand dollar stickers are from a new K&Co. collection by Tim Coffee.  The seaweed stamp is by Great Impressions and the seahorse stamp is by Buck of Artful Legacy.

How fun is this???  I made this anniversary card for my parents using Cricut's Art Nuveau cartridge.  I find with some of these intricate cuts (like the feathers and legs) I'm better using a larger image like I did with the hummingbird.  I think I did the hummingbird at 3.5" and these herons are 4" so the card ends up being 6x6.  While this is not a ideal size for mailing (more postage and you have to make your own envelope), I use square cards when I know I'm going to deliver it by hand.  I think next time I'll tone down the legs and beak though.  I'm going to do the dragonfly for my Mom's birthday since that is her email address and she has a dragonfly tattoo on her ankle.

One more bookmark card for an upcoming May birthday.  The background paper is by My Big Idea and the butterfly, flower and button was from a K&Co.'s Classic Adhesives .  The center paper is from DCWV Mango Frost Mat Stack using Cricut's Elegant Edges Bird 4.  The cupcake "braddie" is by Doodlebug Design Inc. and the "sunshine" ribbon is from American Crafts.
